Beskrivning

The mussel is the true superhero of our time. It is grown in the fjord, without requiring any resources, and keeps the sea alive by reducing eutrophication – while providing us with a non-toxic and nutritious super protein.

The blue mussel, Mytilus Edulis is harvested after two summers. By then, it has had time to filter around 25,000 liters of water to assimilate phytoplankton. When you harvest the mussel, you take up the phosphorus and nitrogen that are in the plankton.
