There are many different definitions of what locally produced actually is. For us it is
easy. Ever since the dairy started, we have made cheese from milk from our own farms
Geese herded in the area around Ljung, in the middle of Västergötland. Our milk therefore needs
never travel further than 25 km from the farm to the dairy. That’s what we at Gäsene Mejeri
calls locally produced.
